A restaurant kitchen in the evening, two lamps over the pass

The phone rings. The kitchen keeps going.

Dicanta is the voice assistant for restaurants that answers calls and takes orders in Catalan and Spanish. Your menu, your rules and the order in your kitchen.

You only pay for calls that turn into orders.

A conversation becomes a kitchen order.

At peak service, answering the phone means someone stops to listen, write down the order and pass it to the kitchen. Dicanta speaks with the customer in Catalan or Spanish and prepares a clear ticket so your team can keep serving.

  • They interrupt. It keeps up.

Customers talk over it, jump ahead, go back. Dicanta follows the way a person would.

  • They change their mind. The order changes too.

“Actually, make it two.” The order and the total update, and nothing gets lost.

  • They switch to Spanish. So does Dicanta.

Catalan or Spanish, even halfway through a sentence.

  • They can't decide. It helps.

It uses the ingredients and dish information you have provided.

No phone menus or “press 1”: the customer talks to Dicanta.

The assistant talks. Your menu decides.

Before recording an order, the engine checks items, prices and conditions against your restaurant’s data.

  • Prices from your menu

We set up prices with you. Ask us when they need changing; the conversation uses the current menu.

  • Only what's in stock

Sold out at nine? From nine on, Dicanta stops offering it and suggests something else.

  • Pickup times you can keep

Quoted from the times you set for tonight, not guessed.

  • Menu items and sizes

Each size is published as an item with its own price. Extras and ingredient changes are assessed before activation.

  • Allergens only from you

It shares what you've told it. If it doesn't know, it says so instead of guessing.

  • Read back before it's confirmed

The customer hears the whole order and the total, then says yes.

Orders land where your team already looks.

Confirmed orders appear on Servei, your live order board, on any tablet, phone or screen in the kitchen. Accept, cook, mark ready. No new habits.

Every kitchen has its own phone.

A pizzeria, a sushi bar or a neighbourhood hot dog counter: each with its own menu, its own rush and its own way of serving.

10 calls. 1 order. You pay for 1.

Paying only for successful orders isn't a promotion. It's how Dicanta is built. If a call doesn't end with an order in your kitchen, it costs you nothing.

An evening at Aurora · Illustrative example

From handwritten orders to an assistant that fits you.

Before it answers a single call, we set Dicanta up with you: your menu, your greeting and your rules. And you keep your usual number.

  1. We get to know your restaurant

We look at how you answer calls, take orders and receive them in the kitchen. Your way of working is our starting point.

  2. We give it your style

We adjust the greeting, tone, Catalan and Spanish, your menu and your rules. Warm, direct or more formal: Dicanta should fit your restaurant.

  3. We test it with you

We try orders from your menu and situations from your service. Together, we review how it responds and what your team receives. You approve the result.

  4. We put it to work

You forward your usual number to Dicanta and it starts taking orders while your team carries on with service. We keep adjusting it with you when something changes.

What restaurant owners ask us

Will my customers know they're talking to an AI?

Yes, and we think that's right. Dicanta introduces itself as the restaurant's phone assistant. What people care about is being understood, getting the order right and not having to repeat themselves.

What if it doesn't understand something?

It asks for clarification. Requests needing a person must be handled by your team; we agree and test that route before activation. The demo does not transfer calls.

Do I have to change my number?

No. Your customers keep calling your usual number: you forward it to Dicanta and we agree with you which hours it answers.

What if several customers call at once?

We test simultaneous-call capacity with the number and subscribed plans before activation. This capacity is not yet validated in the demo.

Do I need new hardware or a new POS?

No. Servei runs in the browser on the tablet, phone or screen you already have, without touching your POS. If you want orders to reach your POS too, we look at it with you.

Who controls the menu and what's sold out?

You mark dishes sold out, pause orders and adjust pickup time in the dashboard. We prepare dishes and prices with you; contact Dicanta to change them.

Does it handle delivery?

If you deliver yourselves, Dicanta takes the address, checks it against your delivery area and quotes your delivery times.

How much does it cost?

You pay per successful order, never per call or per minute. Calls that don't end in an order are on us. We'll give you a clear rate for your restaurant before you commit.
